Technical/Site Readiness

Minimum Technical Requirements:

Will enable you to use PHIMS with minimal support from Digital Health.

  • Internet access
  • Firefox ESR 68 or greater (64 bit), Chrome 72 or greater, Microsoft Chromium Edge 86
  • Anti-virus Software – current and up to date
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader 19 / Microsoft Excel 2013 or higher for displaying and printing reports
  • Cell phone that can receive SMS (text) messages (for External Site only)
  • Remote Access Services – Imprivata (2 Factor authentication Application with $75 annual license fee (soft token) – for External Site only)

  • Hardware Technical Requirements
    • Internet access
    • Memory (2 GB RAM)
    • Disk space (2 GB hard drive space beyond Operating System requirements)
    • Processor (2GHZ processor with dual core)
    • Display (1366 x 768)
    • Cell phone that can receive SMS (text) messages (for external site only)
  • Software Technical Requirements
    • Browser: Firefox ESR 68 or greater (64 bit), Chrome 72 or greater, Microsoft Chromium Edge 86
    • Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
    • Anti-virus Software – current and up to date
    • Programs (Adobe Acrobat Reader 19 / Microsoft Excel 2013 or higher for displaying and printing reports)
    • Printing (Local browser printing capabilities through Operating System)
    • Remote Access Services – Imprivata (2 Factor authentication Application with $75 annual license fee (soft token) plus $85 one-time fee for Key Fob – for External Site only)
    • Email Account

** A cell phone OR smartphone is required to receive a code as a second identifier, following similar information system security standards such as online banking and email systems.

End User Readiness

Basic Computer Skills:

To attend PHIMS training, users require basic computer skills including the ability to use a mouse, perform a search and enter information through the keyboard. For an assessment of your computer skills click here.

Excel Skills:

To use many of the mass clinic functions such as creating cohorts for school clinics, users require the ability to manipulate data in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. For a list of the skills required click here.
